I was inspired within a few short months after accepting a Clinical Nutrition Manager role with Morrison, after being a hospital dietitian for 18 years. I realized I could make a positive impact both in the clinical area and operations. Morrison strongly believes in developing their associates by giving them opportunities for success. Within a year, I was offered the role of Regional Clinical Nutrition Manager, taking on more responsibility than I ever dreamed possible. The wealth of knowledge I have gained through Morrison is unparalleled. I am fortunate to work for a company that has entrusted me with such great responsibility.

I started eight years ago as a temporary employee doing dishes at Lee’s Summit Hospital and was hired after a few months. During the next four years I held the positions of lead cook coordinator and production manager while also attending school to become a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM). After achieving my certification through Morrison, I was then promoted to Director at Research Belton Hospital where I have been for the last two years. Morrison has been a great company to work for and has lots of support in place to make sure you succeed.

I joined Morrison in 2003, after working with Restaurant Associates in a fine dining restaurant in New York City. Morrison allowed me to bring a lot of the food quality skills I possess to a different setting, while providing invaluable tools in running a business. I began as an Executive Chef and in a little over a year, was promoted to a Director. Morrison has helped me and my team focus on ways to meet and exceed client and customer expectations.
The Morrison family has helped me grow into a well-rounded professional and has provided opportunities for development. They truly value my opinion through being a member of the Diversity Action Council as well.

I have been part of Morrison for about 10 years. I began my career in foodservice as a dishwasher at a hospital in Colorado in 1997. After working as a dishwasher for a month, I approached my dining director to inquire about future career goals. He enrolled me in the Certified Dietary Managers course and in a little less than two years I became an Assistant Director of Dining Services. Eighteen months after that, I was offered my first Director position. Morrison really cares and offers their associates many great opportunities, even providing reimbursement programs to go back to school for degree and training programs. Morrison truly wants for people to succeed.
